THERAPISTS & PRACTITIONERS
I have spent a lifetime in psychiatry and mental health care, both in the private sector and in the NHS. I have worked as a therapist in many areas including substance misuse, eating disorders and forensic and liaison psychiatry.
I am also a retired priest but continue my work with individuals who are interested in spiritual direction and healing. In my work I use an eclectic therapeutic approach which draws upon esoteric and Jungian themes.
I am currently the Co-Director of the Vale Centre in Sherwood.
Hello! I believe in a holistic approach to working with people and have qualifications in dietetics , clinical hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Penny Parks Inner Child Therapy (PICT).
I use a wide range of skills to treat a wide range of conditions and problems, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gut related disorders, stress, anxiety, poor confidence, trauma related issues and poor self esteem.

I am a humanistic person-centred psychotherapist and counsellor, working non-directively. I have particular experience of working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence and post natal mental illness . I also have experience of working in the NHS, doing short term work with clients with a broad range of issues. These include working with depression, anxiety, self esteem issues, sexual abuse, miscarriage and still birth, post natal depression, relationship issues, bereavement, post traumatic stress.
I teach Vinyasa yoga, Vinyasa means to connect. Think of poses being fluid, moving from one to the next, utilising your breath to help you during your yoga practice. I'm really passionate about the fact that I think yoga can be for everyone and I really hope that anyone who gives my class a go will agree.
I'm from a dance and gymnastics background, however I fell in love with yoga a few years ago and as a psychology masters student I'm very passionate about the mental health benefits of yoga.
